Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

It is with great excitement and deep gratitude that I write to you as the newly appointed Principal of our incredible school community. Having had the privilege of serving as your Assistant Principal, I am truly honored to continue this journey alongside you in this new role.

Our school has long been a place of excellence—an A-rated, high-performing community where student achievement, leadership, and a culture of care are at the heart of everything we do. As a proud Leader in Me and AVID school, we are grounded in the belief that every child has the potential to lead, grow, and succeed, both academically and personally.

During my time here, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication of our teachers and staff, the resilience and brilliance of our students, and the unwavering support of our families. These partnerships are what make our school so special, and I am committed to strengthening them even further as we move forward together.

We can’t wait to welcome our students back at Open House on August 7th at 3:30pm. I am excited for all that lies ahead for the 2026-27 school year!

Hi, I'm Elizabett, and I have the privilege of teaching here at Harmony community School. It's a special place where we work together with wonderful people! We celebrate together, we cry together, we do it all together! It's a great place to teach. I also get to have my children here. My own children came here from kindergarten to 5th grade. I got to see it from a parent's perspective. What a wonderful place to bring your own kids and see them grow, learn and become great leaders in the community. My name is Gabrielle, and I’m a student here at Harmony Community School. I love being at Harmony because everyone is so kind and caring, especially the teachers. Being here makes me feel happy, and I really enjoy coming to school every day! One of my favorite things learning at Harmony is the 7 Habits. Right now, the habit I’m working on for myself is “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” Harmony Community School is my favorite school ever!

Hi, I'm Gloria, and I work at the front desk, so I get to greet everyone here at Harmony Community School. I love working here because Harmony is more like a family! We look out for each other. I also love that my granddaughters are here learning with such great teachers.

Hi, I’m Roger and the thing I love about Harmony Community School is that everybody stands out like leaders. The teachers inspire us to become Learners and help us be a better person in our lives. My principal, Mrs. Davenport always expresses leadership to the entire school. I'm thankful for that, and how Harmony Community School has always been a great school for me. It inspires me to become a better person in my life, learning and being myself.
